1) First ones were in the June of 2006 (06.06.2006. ]:>) and made with backcoming. Happiest day in my life untill then even tho my head hurted like hell from hair pullling. In start they were pretty much only little puffy bunnies looking like sausages stabed in my head. After few days, things were going better and they droped abit giving me brand new look of Sideshow Bob, which 9/10 confirmed as their first comment.
I had them for about 1.5 years when i had to cut them due to too big congos on the back of my head. I never basicly crochet or rip, i let them do their thingie freely. Things went too far with the amount of congos on the back of the head, whole back side of my head turned into 1 big dread root so i had to cut them off. Biggest mistake ever.
After that i let my hair grow again from 1 cm again to about 20 cm(took me a year+ few months).
2) 25.4.2009 second set was born. This time with only hands twisting&riping and with abit of croctheting. Lost much less hair lenght, they droped down much faster and also no problem with headache.
I still have this set. No crotcheting at all, they look pretty much natural.
If i ever start next set, will be natural for sure, i admire the personality and the wilderness of natural dredlocks.
